Arshad and Sam were born and brought up in Mumbai. Arshad is CFO at Somerset Therapeutics and Sam is a banker with Wells Fargo. Arshad is very athletic and is always up for a game of soccer or cricket. Sam is always up for a dance as soon as you turn on the music. They have a 14 year old daughter Aaliyah and a 11 year old son Kumeil.


About Priti

Priti Pandya-Patel, a healthcare industry professional, is currently working on her PsyD. Owner of several NJ-based companies that provide healthcare, IT consulting and sleep diagnostic testing , she is also an anchor and co-producer of a TV reality show “Bollywood Spice”. Passionate about cooking, singing, traveling, sports and dancing, this energetic mom of 2 college kids and former Miss India NJ is current President of the Asian Indian Chamber of Commerce.


About Reena

Reena Choudhry has been a technology executive for most of her career. Reena spent several years at CISCO in various sales and business development roles and is currently the Vice President of Sales for a Silicon Valley tech startup in the Cyber Security industry.

In the past, Reena has also actively volunteered for a Sakhi for South Asian Women and Narika – both organizations serve to help women that are the victims of domestic violence. In her personal time Reena is an avid reader. Reena is a Certified Sommelier and has launched a wine label called Kanya Wines. Reena also loves to hike and recently climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro and the Italian Dolomites.


About Sobha

Sobha has been working as a dietitian for the past 18 years at Non-profit organizations, fitness centers and in the healthcare industry. Currently she works at a dialysis center in NJ, developing comprehensive nutritional plans for patients with kidney failure. She also provides medical nutrition therapy to people with diabetes, high blood pressure and chronic kidney disease through her private practice. Her other interests include dancing, exercise, yoga, traveling, cooking for her family and hanging out with friends.


About Janhavi

Dr. Janhavi Rane is the President and CEO of Rane’s Dental Group which is a multi location general and specialty practice with a team of 21 colleagues. She has been practicing dentistry for 15 years and has created 100’s of confident attractive and healthy smiles. She also serves on several New Jersey Dental Association Councils and Dental Study Clubs.

Dr. Rane believes in the power of education for any kind of success in life. She participates in a lot of community and charity events, conducts dental camps and has raised funds for various organizations. Having lived in Mumbai and New York, the world’s entertainment and glamour capitals, she has always enjoyed being involved in the media and limelight. Her ability to interact with people socially and as a business woman has given her the opportunity to host many celebrity and radio shows. She enjoys dancing, modelling, and is extremely passionate about fitness.

Dr. Rane lives in the Princeton, NJ area with her husband and three kids and loves entertaining family and friends. Her mantra is "Don't let anything stop you from achieving your goals and never make lack of time an excuse!"

Medha Atre-Kulkarni is an artist & art teacher from East Brunswick, NJ. She is a graduate of Sir J.J school of Art, Mumbai. She is a signature artist of Garden State Watercolor Society. She has won several awards for her paintings in various media. Her paintings, portraits and murals are in private and public collections in USA and India, in Indian Consulate NYC, Lanning Ave School Library Mural, Verona NJ to name a few. About Harsha

Harsha is a stay at home mom to a 14 year old daughter, 11 year old son, a 2.5 year old golden retriever and a 2 year old basset hound. Her husband Niket is a partner in a Law Firm in New York City.

The family loves to travel and entertain friends. Harsha loves to dance and is thrilled about the opportunity to express herself through dance for this noble and charitable cause.

Himaly is a researcher at West Virginia University in a lab studying a particular type of brain tumor. Her research is very fascinating and hence has become her passion. She loves dancing, especially on Bollywood beats and enjoys portraying her mind on canvas. But lately she is very much into crafting Greeting Cards for various occasions.

Vinita Kochhar is an Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase where she and her team’s mission is to help small business owners by providing various forms of programming and education to help them grow their company. Her appreciation for the passion a founder has for their business has kept her focused on this segment for most of her career.

Vinita is a fan of fitness and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. And where there is music - oh yes - there will be dance! She is also an active member of the Indian Cultural Society of East Brunswick and spent some time volunteering on their committee. Vinita could never achieve her life accomplishments if it were not for her loving husband, Deepak and her two sons, Rahul (14) and Sahil (10). Last, but not least, she is extremely blessed to have her parents and her angels, Shyam and Neena Gursahani, in her life who continue to support and help each and every day.

About Anshul and Vandana: Originally from Delhi, Anshul Agarwal and Vandana Gupta have been in USA since 2000. They currently live in New Providence, NJ. Anshul works in New York City for a hedge fund while Vandana, a trained architect, also teaches Hindi to adults. This is their first Vibha event. They are excited to contribute to Vibha's work of educating underprivileged children in India.

Anmol is a physician practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Lehigh Valley, PA.

She is passionate about taking care of women and their babies. She practices with core philosophy that women should be empowered and educated about their health.

Anmol lives in Coopersburg, PA with her very supportive husband, Ajay, who is a Cardiologist. She loves music and dance and is excited to be dancing for such an important cause.


About Hamidah

Hamidah is a regulatory advisor for many top tier financial institutions and works at EY. Although Hamidah has been in the financial industry for the past 20 years, she hopes to be an entrepreneur at some point in her life. Hamidah has two kids, Karina 18 and Avi 14.

Hamidah is involved with EASE (Education Aid for Social Equality), a program started by her daughter to fund the college education for underprivileged children in India. She also works with ICare, an organization that focuses on the total well-being of senior citizens.

She enjoys yoga, tennis, music, chess and hanging out with friends. A fun fact about Hamidah is that she trekked as high as 11,000 feet in the Himalayas 3 months ago and wants to go back for more intensive treks.
